The New York Early Bird Club is a non-profit organization designed to bring together owners and/or enthusiasts of the Ford Thunderbird for the years 1955 through 2005. We are Chapter #57 of The Classic Thunderbird Club International.

We enjoy socializing and exchanging information helpful in the preservation and restoration of our Classic & Retro Thunderbirds. Many find the Club a resource for locating and obtaining Thunderbird parts and mechanical assistance.

The Club was formed in August of 1973 at Saratoga Springs, New York, incorporated in 1974, and is composed of families from the Albany, Catskill and Hudson Valley areas of Eastern New York State. In 2012, the New York Early Bird Club welcomed owners/ enthusiasts of all years of Thunderbirds. Business meetings (Dust Offs) are held each Spring and Fall. Monthly breakfast get-togethers are held the last Saturday of every month at a local diner (see events schedule).

Every month when the weather cooperates we schedule an outing. Check the events page for updates! Examples include the Club picnic in July and the annual holiday party in December. We have road rallies, foliage rides and displays at interesting locations and ice cream runs monthly!
